Associate Professor at the Arts and Humanities Department, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). At UOC, he organized from 1998 the degree in Catalan Language and Literature. Then he launched and directed the website Lletra (2000-2004), and was also the responsible for an MA on “Books and reading in the Information Society” (2009-2011).

He teaches at UOC’s BA in Arts, BA in Catalan Language and Literature, Master’s Degree in Cultural Management UOC-UdG, and Master’s Degree in Humanities: Contemporary Culture, Literature and Art. 

He has also been Assistant (1993-1998) and Adjunct Lecturer (1999, 2009, 2010 and 2012) on Catalan Literature and Literary Studies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona), Visiting Scholar at Duke University (1996), and Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia (2007), Brown University (2011, Salvador Dalí Catalan Studies Chair) and Università Ca ‘Foscari Venezia (2012). He worked as Lecturer and Academic Advisor for the Global Studies Program of Trinity College (USA) in Barcelona (2003-2004 and 2007-2009).
